Nothing thats ever done on «Dancing with the stars» will ever be «making history». It’s just a lazy reality show that is stacked with 3rd rate celebrities. I’m happy for JoJo and everything but DWTS is a joke.

  2. Goran Hikl

Poor Glen. Even he needs to play along

  3. Aunt Sofie from Cardamum Town

Not the first. A guy will be dancing with a guy in the Norwegian version «Skal vi danse» (Shall We Dance) on TV 2.

    1. Aunt Sofie from Cardamum Town

      @LouLou Yes, I agree!

    2. LouLou

Dancing with the stars in Australia last year had two guys. They should really state that it’s an American dancing first not first ever, but then again the yanks are so self centred that to them America is the only country that exists in the world.😒

    3. Aunt Sofie from Cardamum Town

@Brook Skal vi danse starts this Saturday. DWtS starts on September 20th. I think this makes us first (We have also had an undecided dancing with a man and deciding on the day if s/he would dance as a man or a woman)

    4. Brook

      Dancing with the stars first.

  4. John Q Law

    Who’s gonna lead?

    1. o Trendy

@John Q Law Not all girls are submissive so you sound mad dumb.

    2. John Q Law

      @o Trendy Make me

    3. o Trendy

      @John Q Law Shut up

    4. John Q Law

Probably a well known ‘suspicion’ among LGBT, that the ‘pansexual’ chicks like Siwa just don’t want to be outed by the music industry and pop culture. So. They call themselves ‘pan,’ so people will know they’re ‘open’ to it. Personally, the term ‘pan’ is a lot easier to hear, than stuff like ‘non-binary’ or ‘genderqueer.’ I mean. Miss Siwa kinda looks like ‘pan’ in the sense of ‘Peter Pan.’ She has that pretty, pleasant, expressive face, the 80’s sense of style, although hers is more ‘inclusive.’ Kinda think it’s funny though, that she’s making a big deal out of dancing with a female partner. Where my mom grew up, in the 50’s, she would go to clubs with chicks and they would dance with each other more than they danced with guys. I’ve seen too many movies that have scenes with chicks dancing with one another. So. It’s a ‘known’ quantity. I remember the first time I saw two chicks, bonding in that way, at an intern program in DC. These two chicks from NYC were holding this string, and they were acting like the string was unbreakable, that they had this feminine bond. It was just registration, too. Anyway. Hope she wins. Don’t know who the other contestants are. Probably not as energetic or as cute.

    1. RVcomebackmarch

Pan is literally short for pansexual just like bi being short for bisexual and NoB for non binary i rlly dont see ur point

  6. B Lee

What is she twelve? Tuned in tonight for the first time in several years…what trashy sensationalism. Tyra Banks (uggh) and then a what??? Pansexual…oh how trendy. Wth. Smh.

  7. Andria Givens

I’m not watching DWTS this season at all this season. When they had Michael Sam and Johnny Weir who are both gay their partners on the show were both women. Therefore Siwa should be partnered with a man. If they can have 2 gay guys partner with female dance partners then they can have a lesbian partnered up with a male dance partner.

    1. RVcomebackmarch

@Andria Givens ok then dont watch it?? they cant go back in time and make that man dance with a gay u know sheesh

    2. Andria Givens

@RVcomebackmarch I’m not watching a show that is owned by Disney knowingly letting a lesbian dance with a female partner when they have had gay men on the show dance with a female.

    3. RVcomebackmarch

@Andria Givens this behavior??? you mean her being gay? its her own personal life and her and the other girl are just friends TT U are the one whos making this gay rn

    4. Andria Givens

That’s why I’m boycotting dwts. Disney owns it yet they allow this behavior. I’m not going to watch 2 girls dance together especially not ballroom dancing.

    5. RVcomebackmarch

Yeah but she choose her partner to be a girl? Just bcs they were both gay doesnt mean that they have to dance together maybe they didnt want to

  8. Salvatori

And they continue to shove their views down our throats. Stop watching this mess, stop worshipping celebrities and go back to spending time with your families!

  9. RVcomebackmarch

    Queen🌸😣😍👑

  10. Black Mamba

I will not be watching dancing with the stars next season. I’m tired of Disney which owns ABC continuously shoving homosexuality and the alphabet community down everyone’s throats and in everyone’s faces every chance they get!

    1. RVcomebackmarch

@B Lee thats literally what i am

    2. B Lee

@RVcomebackmarch «scared gay ppl are more special and better». LOL

    3. RVcomebackmarch

Ok and? Literally no one cares if u watch it or not. Are u scared that gay ppl are more special and better than u? U should be lol. Learn how to respect humans first

    4. RVcomebackmarch

    Fourth

  14. Jillian Dryer

literally why are people so peeved about this? representation matters. queer people, like me, deserve to have people to relate to in the media. if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. no one is shoving things down your throat, they are just trying to be happy.

    1. RVcomebackmarch

@Salvatori OK HERES THE THING THO not even 2 years ago being gay was considered «problematic» and as a «sin» and disney just recently became more open to lgbtq representation so do not think too deeply abt it! its just a girl who dances w/ antoher girl!

    2. Salvatori

Representation is not the same as exploitation, which is what Disney/ABC is doing to the LGBTQ community by doing this! There have been openly gay people on the show as well as many minorities, so your argument for representation is nil. If you can’t see that Disney/ABC is exploiting your community by capitalizing off of JoJo Swia’s announcement of coming out, then I don’t know what to tell you because it’s clear as spring water what they’re doing. And people like you are just eating it up!

    3. RVcomebackmarch

WORDDDDD like ive wanted check the news abt this and all the comments were like «shes a KIDS star she shouldnt do that» «Brainwashing» or «i will stop watching this» like sirrrrrr💀

I’m gay and throughout the years I have watched Strictly come dancing, and the various international versions of that show, like the US version of Dancing with the Stars. There have been gay male contestants, gay female contestants, transwomen and trans men and they all had the same goal: to learn how to ballroom dance. In pro ballroom dancing there are a few men and women who are part of the lgbtq+ community(the only place where we’re a majority is Pride and the gayclubs)but they all take either the male or female role. DWTS is not a pro competition ofcourse. It’s pure entertainment but this kinda feels like a bunch of producers exploiting the challenges the LGBTQ face and then throwing us a bone we did’nt ask for, giving haters more reason to say that ‘we are taking over’ . Please! We are at the mercy of whatever the media decides about us. Why weren’t gay male contestants offered the same? Why was Chaz Bono not asked if he wanted to take on the male lead or the female lead. Why wasn’t every contestant given the same option? Jojo Siwa, I’m not familiar with her( I’m too old) but I do see her being used as a pawn and when it backfires; it will be reason nr. 2343456776 to rag on the LGBTQ community.
